I did get oval soap, but that's a good idea, Ann Pam, pop socks are like tights/pantyhose, but knee length

Me to, I was thinking they where the little ankle high ones. We just call them knee highs.

I thought maybe you were going to use pop rocks, a candy that explodes in your mouth!

Thanks, Zed! I think instead of calling them knee-highs, I'll call them pop socks too. I love it! Maybe we should have a "definitions" room - lol.

That looks great, Zed!
Can someone please tell me the reason for felting soap? I'm sure there must be a real plus to it.

The felt works like a loofah sponge and scrubs nicely on really dirty hands like after gardening or fixing your car (as if I ever fix a car!).

Ahhh, thanks, Ruth. Like a loofah, sounds nice. I may have to try this - uh, can I embroider it? Guess not - lol.

the soap looks great. Sure you can embroider on them or needle felt. Use wool so it will shrink with the felt.

Thanks Pam, Ruth and Ann I bet you could do some nice designs with your embroidery on disolvable stuff, Ruth.

The soap looks good Zed!
Some people say that felted soap is easier for children to use because it doesn't slip. Others say that a bar of felted soap lasts much, much longer.
Do I use one? No, never.

My mom says it's easier for her arthritic hands.
