Your tree decorations are lovely Caterina! You've been very busy making baubles - how long did each one take you to make?

Oh Wow! Just visited the galleryKaren L - your Christmas mice are amazing and they made me smile as they are so cheerful. Ann B - your needle felted robin is so cute. Capi P - your fiddly mit is not only pretty but what a great idea for anyone who could benefit from having one. Kate N - Your tea light candle holders must look good when lit but they look good unlit too!

Snake handle added after through holes would be easiest for beginners.
If time is an issue and if the handle doesn't have to be felted, you could use craft wire or sturdy yarn threaded with glass/plastic beads.

You could but the knitting (if it's pure wool) will shrink and the non-feltable embellishments won't so you will get puckering. If that's the look you're after then go ahead! Do you have photos you could post? You can use this link if you have nowhere online to put your photos: community photo submissions

Your needle felting is wonderful - love the way the pug looks as if he's climbing out of the frame!

Lovely Ann! It's amazing how yarnbombing has spread. The postboxes and railings were decorated with knitting and crochet round here too.

Here we go again. I've just been looking at the BBC's page "Your pictures on the theme of ..." I'm not sure if it can be viewed outside the UK but I hope so. The theme was "Textures". This is part of a continuing series of challenges to the public to produce their interpretation of, usually, just one word which they give us on This Page. Having seen the pictures submitted for Textures it occurred to me that if Lyn & Annie run out of ideas they could perhaps crib from the BBC. 🤔Thank you Ann

Wow! What a great start to the challenge!
Molly - Your tree is wonderful and I like the way you've done the roots. The snowflake is a delight of Christmas colours and so detailed.
Ann - Your snowflakes are fab and I especially like the delicacy of the one on the bottom right - very clever.
Ruth - This silver birch picture is one of my favourites - I feel as if I could walk in there and touch those autumnal leaves.

Hello Ann - I've always made my soaps one at a time - if there is a quicker way I hope someone lets us know! It's easier to make felted soaps if you don't have 'corners' because it's tricky to get the fibres to cover them. If your bars of soap are rectangular, use a potato peeler to round the corners off. A lot of people don't know about felted soaps, so if you are going to sell them perhaps make up a sign with information about them? This is my method but I'm sure there are plenty of others rosiepink.typepad.co.uk/rosiepink/how-to-make-felted-soaps-and-pebbles.html
