Thanks everyone! I've been looking at waistcoats lately actually, but I usually wear plaid/checked shirts so I might look a bit odd, maybe I could do the yardage and let my Dad make himself one Aaw, sorry Jill, it was kind of a fluke really, I was watching Broadchurch (I've not finished, don't tell me the ending!) and got carried away. Cathy, I think it's because I was doing things for other people, making batts etc and they inspired me to use a bunch of colours together I normally wouldn't.

Great idea to make yardage for your Dad Zed! I'll bet he'd love that.

You have to tidy up once and a while to make room for the next project

You've been very productive, Jill. The scarves are lovely and I'm sure you'll sell them all. Best of luck at the bazar.

I’ve been playing with roving this week, looking for suitable fibers for my sons’ slippers. Have made some batts but keep changing my mind about the colors and the shape. At least I have another 4 weeks or so to play with the fibers before buckling down!

I am in Lancaster PA visiting over Thanksgiving (USA) and my Aunt took me to Flying /Fibers today to do some shopping. Got some more of Lucy's locks (Yeah), blended roving, tussah silk, silk noils, etc.
