Amazingly enough, it's the fourth week of the challenge. I hope everyone is having fun on their daily fiber journey. I am going to try and finish up my bead book binding today, it's half way complete. Then it will be finished. I may still make a beaded tassel to add to the binding but that is very optional at this point!

Ann - I'm excited to see these boots!
I did think that technique was really fun Zed. I have that on my list of things I'd like to try again. Perhaps make a bag because the resultant felt is so sturdy. You should try it Paula!

I'm having an overdose of the wrong type of fibre. The trousers are coming along quite well, but I want them finished! Only the waist band to do, why do men's pants have to be so complicated? Ann, are you going to post more pics of your boots in progress? Would love to see them.

That very textured felt would make a good bag.
I can't believe it's week 4 already.
Nothing doing today - I've picked up an 'orrible bug and I feel like a piece of chewed up string. Early night I think.

Aww, I hope you feel better soon, Lyn. I've wasted hours the past few days waiting for a plumber that never came The texture felt really does make great bags, I made two with that technique and a resist. It sounds like you're ready to be finished with those pants, Judith!

yes I am going to post more pictures. Nothing really yet. I have one tongue felted down and the other wet. It will be imposable to keep my space warm today. We are having the coldest day in 8 years. -41 with the wind chill at 6am. I looked like a bear going out to check the barn and to go to work this morning.

Hope your feeling better soon Lyn. I don't think it's your fault Ruth. The jet stream usualy dips down just west of us and drops arctic air on us. then it goes the other way in the summer and the south sends us the heat.

Hope you're feeling better Lyn. Ann, your weather sounds horrendous. I love the snow, but we don't get as much as you. Here in UK everything grinds to a halt when we have 4 inches of snow. We just don't manage it well at all, no excuses!
