Tracey - great notebooks. So individual and very professional-looking. You are right to be proud of them and thanks for sharing. I love seeing what other people are up to. Thank you! very kind comments, and you are welcome!

Tracey, these are all great. I am assuming that the "overlock" is what we call a "serger" machine here. I wish I had one Uum.... I may be overselling it Ruth, I would also call it small zig-zag stitch?? I do it on an ordinary machine, nothing fancy.

Great results Lindsay! Glad you had fun experimenting too. Could they be turned into printed cards maybe?

Beautiful prints Lindsay - the circle and the bird is serendipity at its best.

No worries Tracey. That's what I was trying to figure out.

The prints are quite big, about A3 I’d guess, but I could cut them into small pieces. Haven’t really thought yet what to do with them. On the darker one the bird shape is more visible so I may keep that whole & make something from it - a bag or a document wallet - or maybe a hanging. As ever, though, I’m tending to focus on thinking ‘what can I print next.....’!

Sorry Lindsay I meant how about the designs going off to become printed cards.

Sorry Lindsay I meant how about the designs going off to become printed cards. Ah, apologies - my misunderstanding. I’m not sure they’re good enough to reproduce but I’ll take another look so thanks for the suggestion. And actually the lighter one might cut up quite well to be glued onto cards so I’ll give that a think too. Nice to have options.

Oh my goodness. Poor thing. I bet it must have felt good once it was steered though - like it was walking on air.

We have a goat farm near us and they never shear them. It makes me want to get a shear and leave in the mailbox as a hint. I feel so bad for them.

Remember that wool insulates both ways. our sheared sheep are out in the sun munching and the sheared ones are in the shade hiding form the sun. It's the weight that seems to be the biggest problem for them. My daily dose is more ruffle scarves. I am up to 16 now. I think 4 more should be enough. Then I will start on hats.

That’s a really interesting point, Ann, I hadn’t thought of that. Good that we have a sheep specialist among us.
