Ooo Nada, enjoy Barcelona, I'm still enthralled by the Familia Sagrada, the most incredible building, inside & out. I would suggest you pre-book a visit as it really is not to be missed & there can be queues.
The Desigual outlet shop is really central, just a few mins walk from the Casa Battlo. Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip Jill. We will be staying very close to the Sagrada Familia. Hope the Desigual outlet will still have something on sale.

Ah, I so enjoyed Barcelona and was very impressed with Sagrada Familia, not to mention other architectural works by Gaudi. Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. My head is spinning with other ideas like this.. maybe a Monarch butterfly??
Haley those pieces are beautiful. I love the lace at the bottom of the white jacket.
Viltmaaraan, the fiber is fairly coarse, so the needling holes do not show up at all.

I think this is a very good daily Dosis of fiber month October ! What you all are creating, lovely! Nada, maybe you can put some on the site, a film of the show of 11nov? While I made the recensie of the book of ann Holmes and cas..there was also a chapter spend on preparing an exhibition , indeed lots of work to do.. Have a great time in Barcelona , we have been there too and it is great.

I like the handdols of Yaroslava Troynich very much. So I tried to make one myself. Because of christmas coming and loving Scandinaviƫ I wanted to make a rendeer. It became a mix of rendeer and moose. I learned a lot this time especialy working with the resist. First I had two parts of Rudolf (the rendeer), his nose and the rest. Later I cut his head of, that was a mistake... I put it all together like working with the fish (Galina). Next time I 'll seam the resist together. But for the first time... I am satisfied. See for pics : goo.gl/photos/u5Snctm9gAWBjuGz7I am only wondering; should I needle felt it, to give the eyes more expression and to give a border for the feet and arms?
