That is really a wonderful piece !! And using that branche is what I like. I am always looking for old wooden branches, layed in the wather or woods. It is also nice to do more than one technique in a piece, sibori, cracks , wet and needle felting ! After needle felting, do you do still wet felting for not seeing the little holes of the needle or not?

Most of the time in the past month I have been preparing for my first exhibition and a mini fashion show of my felted works in a small local place. I was not aware it means so much work. I brought out my stuff and started combining things thinking what the models could wear together. Then there are descriptions of items still to be made, a text written for the media, and god knows what more. The opening is scheduled for Nov 11th. I found ound out that some more items would be needed and so made some more. The last two creations are here www.ipernity.com/doc/724735/43444814 www.ipernity.com/doc/724735/43444840. Thinking of what I would like to make in the future I was playing with the idea to make a jacket in the style of Desigual (lots of different fabric rectangles felted on wool). I have a whole box of scarves of different materials (polyester, cotton, silk,...) which I am going to cut out into squares/rectangles and combine them together. So I made a sample yesterday to calculate the shrinkeage rate. This is a picture of the sample What do you think?

The jacket and blouse are gorgeous Nada. I think the sample with the squares would make a nice jacket. Good luck at the exhibition!

What fun Nada, planning for an exhibition - the sampler shows how different fabrics compliment each other - now I'm keen to see what you do with this :-)

Great pieces, Nada, your work is absolutely show-ready. Love the mosaic sample, the jacket will be striking yet elegant & sophisticated due to the muted colour palette - gorgeous. Then you'll need to go for some crazy colour combos for full-on Desigual style!
A friend told me of them last year when I visited Barcelona & I *loved* that shop - could have been happy buying almost every item! especially as they had a sale.
Do keep us up-to-date with your progress busy girl.

Nada, I agree, the white blouse is gorgeous, and the blue vest, too. You get such beautiful colors in your work. Can't wait to see what the jacket looks like.
