Wonderful Teri - I like the late addition of the orange and he makes me smile too - maybe it's because he's poking his tongue out at us!

Thank you ladies, I wish I could take the credit for the orange spots (they're great aren't they) but that was Ceci's idea. I'm already planning the next one (for a cat) but I think it will be much less complicated.... Famous last words!

Great monster fish, Teri. Is he going to be a friend for a parrot? A cat cave sized one would be BIIIGGGG!!

The sea monster a fair size Jill, about 2 ft from lips to tail, a small cat could curl up inside but she probably wouldn't get through the 4" mouth. I'm hoping Ki will use it as a sleeping cave, there's even a perch inside for him to sit on.

Terri - it is amazing but I would not let my bird near it for fear he would poop on it.

It's funny you should say that France's, Ceci and I have just had a conversation about that very thing!

It's funny you should say that France's, Ceci and I have just had a conversation about that very thing! Hope you can get a photo of the parrot with it once it arrives in the US - I wonder if it could be treated with Scotch-guard or some other furniture protector.

Now that I have finished the circle vest (posted under Tips, Techniques and Tutorials) I am thinking about what I am going to use some gorgeous Margelan silk gauze for that I ordered and received Saturday. A pretty wrap probably.......

Apologies to those who have already seen this on my blog, but I finally finished the parrot-eating sea monster (not a phrase I get to say very often! ) and wanted to share with the wider community, he is so comical he still makes me smile every time I see him A little update on the monster... He has found his new prey and his new owner has posted a video of him on Facebook: link
I'm so relieved that he found his way across the Pond safely, it's been nearly 2weeks and I was worried someone else had taken a shine to him and given him a new home....
