Lovely Kansas scene and new avatar Cathy.
Marilyn - glad the cards were a hit. I'm sure they will remember you better because the card was so unique.

Thanks, Ruth, Ann & Zed! I was getting tired of looking at myself.
And Kansas--well anyone having traveled through Kansas will recognize something in my felt. If not, imagine early scenes from the Wizard of Oz.

Thanks, koffipot! The avatar does resemble me slightly--we both have blond hair.

Here are my daily doses of fiber for the past month. I made a series of scarves which I posted on Ipernity: www.ipernity.com/doc/724735/34206493/in/album/695017Today I made a pair of slippers (they are drying now and need to be shaved before I take a photo) and I am already thinking about the next project.

Nada they are beautiful. Did you use a printed silk? It almost looks like a dotted Swiss material on the first one. I look forward to see your latest slippers.

You've been busy, Nada! My fave is the neutral-toned viscose and wool scarf.

Thank you girls for your positive feedback. These scarves were actually ordered and I'm going to sell them. For me this project was mostly experimenting with different materials, and with an exception of one, I'm quite pleased with the results. As a base I used various scarves I foundon around on sales. With some I was lucky to get two matching colours and then combined them into one piece (tearing them apart, putting parts together or folding material to get a basic composition) so I was mostly playing around just to leatn know how different fabrics behave.
