Thanks everyone I thought he texture was pretty cool too. I the thought the white yarn had some wool in it but I guess not because it didn't take any colour. I will try to get a picture of the wool and yarn side tomorrow when the sun is up.

I may do my daughters sketch book and put some pencil pockets on the outside. So Zed have you done a tutorial on how to make a nice book cover?

Lovely texture and it looks like "doodles" so will be perfect for a sketchbook cover.

That looks really cool! I did do a simple tutorial, Ann www.flickr.com/photos/zedster01/sets/72157616038155481/detailIt was for a folder type which opens out flat, for books, I measure one flap, fold the book closed then measure the other. Just remember if you're adding anything like pockets or fasteners that it's easier to do this after measuring and before sewing the flaps in place I was just thinking yesterday I should update it with pics for making a front flap and tie closures

Hello, Here is my first nuno experiment ever I did last month. It will be use on the front of an hand bag that my friend will sew. I have added a 3d flower for dimension. I have used a prefelt merino as a base. The silk ( polyester) scarf are from the thrift store they are pieces that I have cut and assembled. It is after buying the ''beyond nuno'' book by Zed that I found the courage to try that technique. Thanks Zed!!! I would have haded stitches...but do no know how to stitch....so....voilĂ !

Very nice job! there is lots of great texture. Are those sequins in the middle of the yellowy flowers? Hello Ann, Thanks for your comment. They are beads called miracle beads. I like to you use them a lot in my felting. They are much nicer in real. In the photo they look too shinny.
