WOW! Just wow! It looks like she's laser cutting but even with that these would still take an age and a lot of skill!

They are great! Penguin, how would you laser cut felt? Same way as you laser cut anything else...which is kinda like saying 'dunno!' All I know is you need a big, expensive machine. 😊 If you look at the pic where there are lots of tiny pieces in one sheet and she's pulling one out though, they look laser cut to me.

I get what you mean Penguin ... so laser cutting isn't really the thing for the average craft room then!

I have a die cutting machine. I have tried cutting felt shapes in it and found it hit and miss, cutting some parts and not others. Some dies actually obliterated the whole felt!

Good to know Tracey. Did you cut handmade felt? Wondering if you could cut commercial prefelt more easily?

I cut my own felt and commercial felt. I have never used commercial prefelt, but I think personally due to the softness it would stand even less of a chance than strong felt. The more intricate the die, the more cuts it has, again just my opinion, but stick with paper and card with a die cutter.
It was just an experiment, I was curious.

Yes, I have been curious too but not having die cutting machine, I never was able to test it.
