Looks like a great class Jill. They are all concentrating so hard. The pictures turned out great. I like the bottom 2 the best. Did you enjoy the teaching?

Thanks all. Yes Ann I did enjoy it (I used to do some IT & management development training in a previous working life!). I have run several workshops in the past, either just simple beginners level, making a flat piece for a book cover, or a flower. This was the 1st picture class, & I was concerned whether they'd manage. I did give them directions as to pictures to bring for their inspiration - no people, animals or buildings!We used batting for the initial layers, so we got an even base down fast, to spend the bulk of the time on the design. My favourite class is nuno scarf, as I pick out quite a good selection of silk chiffons for them to choose, then they can add whatever merino colours they wish. Everyone has gone home excited that they can have made something unique & wearable!
