My daily dose was drying this scarf I made yesterday & photographing a batch of stuff for my Etsy shop. I'm pleased with this nuno scarf - sometimes it's good to keep things simple, & here I feel it shows the materials well.
It's a piece of printed silk chiffon, overlaid with Merino with a touch of trilobal sparkle (thanks WOW - called Glitzy Mallard I think). 2nd photo in the sunshine to show the sparkle!

The scarf turned out really well. Printed silk is great to work with.

That's gorgeous, Jill I'm still finding trilobal nylon everywhere after doing dyeing weeks ago!

Oh Judith, that's not good - how about you go to your fibre stash, close your eyes & grab something - anything? maybe grab 2 things & see what they 'speak' to you? Could be fun
I've been doing more complex stuff for a couple of weeks - a waistcoat with locks, some art pieces etc & yesterday, I just fancied something really simple. Sometimes, simple is best. & a fast result. & keeping the fibres all 1 colour let the chiffon show up & the texture of the chiffon is just lovely.
But today my Jelly Roll of fabrics I've been waiting for finally arrived, so no felting for me for a bit - I'm hoping for rainy days so I can justify staying in & doing my 'quilt-as-you-go' project!
