Hi everyone well i'm quite stuck, i'm wanting this to be an album cover and its just not going to plan, i'm not working from a pattern or anything apart from what i've marked out with white stitches so i can stitch in between. Not sure if i've used the right color thread or what i should be using, do i pull it all out and start again or keep going ect ect any suggestions I have done a little bit more on this since i took this pic (not much more) i'll take another pic tomorrow but just thought i'd get in now while i was looking at it not being able to do anything to it lol thanks girls xo

At the top right, it looks like some silk swirly bits, maybe you could use a thin red silky thread to do some stitched swirls to match? And the bottom right, there's a nice wavy effect, maybe you could add stitches either side to enhance/copy that. I really like how it's looking, I love the wave of stitches and the spirals, and how you've sectioned it

Karen - I agree with Zed, adding some red thread to add more color would be great. Also, some turquoise would be good as well. You could just do small straight stitches (like seed stitches) in those colors to add blocks of color between what you've already applied. I wouldn't take anything out.

I'm with everyone else, colour...so red, bright purple or even orange? Random but might look good?

Thankyou Ann and Shelley, i'm going to be adding more to this today, i didnt want it to be really bright but because of the colors in the felt i think i might have to go that way. I just dont think its going to suit a baby album,( which is what i wanted it for) so i might just have to make another one for baby and make this one for a normal album.

Karen - why can't babies have bright albums? I think that would make them more cheerful and grow up to be color fanatics!

I agree with Ruth. they can be bright without being neon or garish.
