Hi everyone. thanks to those who wrote to welcome me to the forum. As I am new to the forum and new to Flickr, this posting of photos is testing my computer skills to the limit. Hey ho ! Sure I will improve with practice. These are two early pieces in my wet felting and nuno felting career. The nuno piece started as a sampler but as I saw a landscape in it, decided to embellish with some printing, ie the trees. will try and work out how I post a thread to my Flickr album of the rest of my work.

I love both. What did you use print with? Dye, paint, ink?

Hi Ruth. Thank you. I printed using Therofax screens and inks. It's a very easy process and can add a different dimension to a piece. I haven't done any for a while, but it's great fun. If anyone is interested in having a go, I'll look out the info about the website but think its probably accessible by googling Thermofax. best wishes, Jan

Well, as least your picture showed up, mine never do, so I just did a goofy avatar and moved on. I have some thermofax screens and have used them in some surface design. Welcome to the forum, Flo. The printing looks great.

The tulip vase is lovely and I like anything with sheep. You are a right side up owl now. Judy you will have to try it with the new attachment button. not sure about the avatar. I know you have to make a very small picture.
