hi all I am a felter from Australia I am new to forums (pretty much) so I hope I do okay! Am here for inspiration and hopefully to inspire you! I travel and live in a bus with my almost 3yr old and I sell my trade as we go. you can see what I do on Facebook by typing in 'roamingfelt' in google browser or fb! or...here is the link- m.facebook.com/roamingfelt?id=377298675668470&_rdrcome click like n share of course and could do same for you . I love felting its my number one artistic passion. As I said we travel around and trade at festivals and on odd occasions I might do a market but its not my thing that's for sure. I sell a lot online mostly. I also love puppetry and have a couple of felt puppets I use.Am hoping to soon create a stop motion movie using all felt it's quite a project tho so I don't know what year it will be complete feel free to check out my stuff and chat..I hope I make some new fibre friends xx blessings and gratitude Selkin

Welcome. I love the lion head, though it took a while to work out what the purple stripey bits were! Well done, it's difficult to hold things and photograph at the same time!

oh what a wonderful welcome, thank you all yes brian froud (designed puppets for him Henson)is my biggest inspiration for sure! at the moment I am working on 3 that should be complete over the weekend and up on Pod. at the moment I am in my iPhone :/ so it's hard to browse microscopically but when we get to a wifi spot I will be able to wander through the forum and have a looksy and hopefully some yarns (pun intended) Koffipot ..I am not sure which lion head you mean ? sometimes I upload pictures of the processing part n just hold them up. I wish I was a photographer but alas it's not my forte, though I have a nice macro Nikon that I should have classes to learn how to operate one day thanks again for your lovely welcoming comments! blessings selki

Welcome from the other side of the world (Canada) Selkin! Your puppets are very humorous. Do you use wet- and needle felting on the same item? I used to do little animals for and with my daughters, now I do mostly garments. Are you on Pinterest? Hope you have regular internet access and keep sharing on the forum! (from felted-feast.com)

all my feltins are dry felt but on odd occasion I will wet felt a hat for one. I wet felt wildlife rescue pods (but they are also bought for newborn photography or lotus births) I'd LOVE to visit Canada one day
