Hi I'm Mo Jackson (Momo), I've been felting for about 3 years. After inheriting a large bag of merino wool, I bought books, looked at online tutorials and away I went. I loved felt making so much that now I've left behind my career as a graphic designer to teach felt making and make people happy. I can utilise all my skills as a designer/illustrator in my felt making - it's just a different medium - painting and sculpting in wool, and I love it...should have done it years ago!

Hello Mo - you really are living the dream!
It was a brave decision to leave your career and change direction, but obviously so right - your felt is lovely.

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments. I'm still finding my way around the forum so forgive me if I type things in the wrong place. I'm very happy to be here and looking forward to seeing all your beautiful creations.
I am part of the yurt building team, but I've only been part of it for the last 6 months. We didn't get much of it done last year as the weather was so bad...fingers crossed for this year.
If anyone would like to look, my website is:

I've just tried my website and it's fine. I don't know why I can't access it from your site. The message says I can correct that by publishing it to the forum site...I don't understand what that means or how to do it...HELP! In the meantime just Google 'mofeltart'. Momo

Mo i had trouble last time i changed my avatar to but then when i went to modify profile, scrolled down and added my picture, once it was there i kept my fingers crossed and scrolled down again and clicked on modify profile again and it worked, i think the trick is keeping your fingers crossed lol
