People often ask me where I get my ideas from, sometimes things have been swirling around my head for months before I actually get round to creating them. Very occasionally I will pick up some wool and just start needling and something just appears, no planning, no ideas, just go. This little guy did just that the other day! Oh he's gorgeous amanda, your needle felting is so neat. Wool always has a mind of it own doesnt it, we can start out with one thing in mind and then Bingo, something completely different forms

Great little fellow I find it hard to do custom pieces because of that same idea. When I start poking the Jacobs fibre I never know what it will become until it is a solid mass, then once I add colour it will become something
