Is that felted and stitched, Judith? I don't know the original, but that looks great

Thanks Judith. I love working with the sheep. a friend and I have plans to make some jackets for a few of them this year to keep the hay out of the wool. The picture is great. The sheep are great it looks like you doodled with the yarn. I hadn't seen the original before.

Zed- yes,wet felted and free motion stitching.
Lyn, I probably won't be able to find it again by next Christmas!
Although this McKenzie now lives in California, he still has a shop here in Richmond, where he is known as "the square sheep man". His work is very popular.

Ann, I live in sheep country and though our local sheep are very hardy, (Swaledale mules) the lambs often have little plastic macs to keep them dry and therefore prevent hypothermia.

Great work Judith. I love the stitched sheep in the foreground.

Judith that's a coincidence I just got my world of wool order and I have 1lb of gray swaledale to try out.

Ann, It's pretty coarse and takes a while to felt, but it is hardwearing. Just don't make a scarf with it!

It is softer against my skin than I expected. That it is in the top form. I will have to see once it's felted.

You could put a similar price on it. The question would be if anyone would buy it!

In the weird world of art, you'd probably get more interest with a huge price tag
