Once again I have had something interesting brought to my attention by a member of the Online Guild of Weavers Spinners & Dyers. Try this link , I'm sure you'll be as delighted with Salley Mavor's way of illustrating a children's book by Rebecca Bond. I have seen books made for children by embroiderers, but I think this is amazing.

Thank you for suggesting this video: I loved watching it with my daughter and we were enchanted by the artwork of that fab embroiderer! At which point my daughter declared that she wants to make something like it lol! But ambition is so good for kids, she will surely learn lots just for trying, and I will learn with her. So very inspiring.
