I think Summerset did join here. She commented on the blog recently.
Wow, selling tutorials? It's such a messy site, I find it hard to use. Everything jumps around and takes ages to load.

The original owner of the site maria spalding I think would be appalled if she knew what was going on behind the scenes, and to think you all gave of your time to help run it and to put it bluntly have been shat on.

Mostly now it is a place for her to promote her stuff, classes and wool and needles. I wonder where she keeps it all they were living in an RV. I sent an email asking if I had been removed but haven't got an answer. I did take my pictures before that though. I removed them ages ago.

People should be able to remove their photo's, after all its their intellectual property, there must be a law covering this in America of all places. Just look at all the fussd that goes on with film studio's over their copyright.

It would be a pain to do it. I don't know that you can. Pinterest is mostly stolen photos and nothing happens there. I know ther are picturs of mine there no one asked permision to post.

You can contact Pinterest if you see any of yours there.

It doesn't really bother me about pinterest. Its just amazes me that people think it's ok to publish someones photos without asking. I don't publish anything I don't want people to see and possibly copied. I hadn't put my viking hats out there until Ruth's book.

I've been the same after I got some ideas copied, especially when someone asked me specifically how to do something, the started charging £50 per person for a workshop teaching it I see Pinterest like a more organised google search result, because it does say where the originals are from. I signed in the other forum yesterday and thought about pm-ing them to unblock me to remove my pics, but I don't think I can be bothered, I think most are archived cos they're from before the site moved and I just don't want to deal with them.

I haven't heard anything back from them. Not sure what I did to trigger it. Maybe posting Ruth's book was out. but I could get in for a while after she removed the responses and locked the thread. Not much to be done.
