Hello everyone, I thought it would be a cool idea to post a timeline of each of our creations, from when we started to now. It's a good way for people to look back and reflect on their work. I've only started felting a few days ago, but I think I am making good progress so far. Here is mine:

I wish I had realised the importance of photographing and making notes in the early days!

Thank you lol I was learning how to connect limbs together. My first needle felted figure. This was in 2007. More recently a wall piece from nuno felt and silk applique. These are so cool. Omg, I never thought to do a picture before. It reminds me of fall colors.

Once finished and after about a week I take it down and add the finished piece in its category.

Worm Hole seems most appropriate at this stage. I agree with you. I wish the colors were truer in the photographs, it has nice depth and the worm colors complement the body of the work. Thanks for looking at it a voting on a name.

I really love your blog and the creations featured on it. The one with the gears, "All Geared up," mesmerized me. It reminds me a bit of steampunk a little! How do you get the solid metals so that they stick so well? I have trouble with that and resort to hot glue.

I was lucky to find the gears in thick plastic. I had trouble realizing that they were not metal but the weight. I hand stitch 99% of the time. I use different weights of monofilament line or waxed sewing threads. Thank you for looking
