Does anybody use these color wheel color generators? I find them interesting and helpful. color.adobe.com/create/color-wheelI love color theory so I play a lot with these things.

I have played with them before. But I have several notebooks from a color class that I took that I use all the time. These were painted by me and are a systematic color scheme notebook and many charts of mixing paint colors. Those have been very helpful to me. This is the class I took: gailcreativestudies.com/portfolio-item/level-1-color-studies-online/Although I took it in person at her studio.

I can't get to a web page from this link, it just says "There is no relationship between this site and the advertiser. TradeDoubler" and this link takes me to some strange website.

I cannot see the page either, I do look at a colour wheel sometimes when I am not sure about my choices. The colour wheel I have is from a decorator magazine. I am much more unsure about paint choices for room colours!

I think if you search here or maybe it was on the blog, we did a thing about the colour generators and the ones where you put a picture in and it generates a colour scheme from it. Ther are some quilters use to bread down pictures too.

I did get there in the end, but I don't think I'll be using that one - it's paid and I'd rarely use it, quite apart from the time it would take to learn how. I don't tend to use a colour wheel much, I usually just fish around in my (much too big) stashes and put together what seems pleasing. I find that over the past few years I've been influenced by Kaffe Fassett and now put together colours which "clash"; finding them exciting rather than a big "no-no" as I was taught in my (long ago) youth.

I don’t pay for it. Oh well at least it generated some conversation on this board.

I do use Duck Duck Go as my search engine. Maybe if you were using other browsers it might show up differently.
