Some months ago there were some posts on the Studio about various unusual silk artifacts and materials, including cocoons. I've just received an email-newsletter from Piecework Magazine with a link to an article about cocoon tassles which are attached to weavings in Laos. This is the link: Clever Cocoon Tassles I'm sure that someone will come up with a way to include this in their felting or other textile art.

Beautiful! I love the contrast between the greens and purples and then that little pop of yellow inside the flowers.

I'm glad, thanks a lot )))
Maybe it will be useful to someone. I kept the cocoons in hot paint on a wire ( in cocoons maked little hole into). This made it possible to paint in different colors. Then dried the cocoons and they became hard again. They are easy to cut and pierce.
