Fabulously quirky! The cat looks very cosy in his cave. That must have taken a lot of wool and a lot of hard physical work.
I'm being nosy here, but is that a stained glass tool I see in the background? And is that all your own workspace?

Wow again! Don't cats just love to get inside things? I made a "catgloo" years ago out of fleece covered foam triangular sheets and all our cats have loved it. I think that that was before I found felt or I would have had a go at felting one. I might even do that, though sadly we no longer have a cat to live in it. Love seeing your work, any more in the pipeline?

Thanks for the look and I am glad the pictures turned out. Maybe there is hope for me yet. Oh Lyn, I am blessed with Prairie Sky, my studio. And I do lots. You are correct, I also dabble in stained glass, both foil and leaded. Just finished a cupola this year. One hundred and six square feet of “jewelry for the house”. It’s lighted from the inside and viewed from the outside. It goes around all four sides. My husband got a leaded stained glass class for me last year as a birthday present. Silly man. www.dropbox.com/s/8sm67xsjjjfuuhr/2ACF6781-29A6-4396-933C-857BD8A678E3.jpeg?dl=0And yes, the cat cave WORE ME OUT! I used the Bergshaf wool for it and after some experimentations I believe that is the best for the structure. The tail is wire wrapped and I used a couple of wire wrapped “ribs” needled a bit inside to support the weight of the tail. I am thinking a TeePee next, and maybe a “cat in the hat”. I made a bottle topper of the Dr’s kitty once. www.dropbox.com/s/7xkmc4cw5z70m5l/B047CF3B-F6E3-49F9-A086-24B948BE2B8E.jpeg?dl=0

Love seeing your work, any more in the pipeline? I LOVE your moniker. The frabjous day is close to my heart. Your “catgloo” sounds marvelous. Cats have a great affinity for wool. I have been making them little peg loomed rugs to lie on and they seek them out at my house. When I weave I have to cover my work with a towel which the studio cat uses as a nap pad while in progress. Do another, and find a poor baby needing a home. I have several, most all are bottle fed orphans. They give an artist good “cat energy”.

The stained glass cupola is fantastic! Beautiful!
Is that whole building your studio?

Not my studio, my “ladies loft” at the house. We live in rural Kansas not too far from the infamous Dodge City, and have a view of the prairie. Our home is called “Casa del Ceilio” or Sky House because we see a lot of it! My studio is in our little town of 1,600 population (if you count the dogs and cats). I really do clean and organize it a bit, though I see from the picture it was a time I was in a mess, but I often have one or two projects going at a time. My cousin lives in London and I got to go tripping around England in 2015. I do envy your green. We have wind on the prairie, and LOTS of it. Plus really hot summers and often stretches of dry weather, so we struggle with the green. Mostly big corn, sorghum, soybeans and cotton fields here. Prairie Sky is my “clean” studio where I do glass and fiber work. I have a “dirty” studio where I work with metal, sandblasting, woodworking, and sling a little paint. We don’t have much for entertainment here, so this is what keeps me happy in the middle of nowhere!

Your cat cave is adorable and the cat seems to really like it. Glad you got the photo links figured out. It is so nice to see your work. And your stained glass cupola is amazing! It's nice that you keep yourself entertained with such amazing creativity

Wow, you are very busy. The cat gave it's great. You are right, cats love wool. That stained glass is amazing. that must have taken you a long while to complete. It is good you can keep yourself busy and happy. I don't think I could live without green and trees.

I have also worked on the green thing at the house. I am surrounded by trees and ponds and grass. Takes a sprinkler system, though. Landscaping too, takes time and is an art in itself, believe me. I originate from south Texas where you could spit a seed and it would grow with lots of water and not so much wind. I adapted.
