You’ve got some interesting results there Lindsey. I particularly like the look of the silk and rayon.

Interesting experiments! It's fun to see how they turned out. I guess I need to check out the thrift stores more often 😬

Interesting experiments! It's fun to see how they turned out. I guess I need to check out the thrift stores more often 😬 It’s certainly an inexpensive way of buying fabric. I also rather like the randomness of it. I see things that spark my curiosity that I would never have looked for in a fabric shop. Plus you’re supporting good causes; what’s not to like?!

The green mohair has a great texture. the black stripes are nice. the grey is really nice. If you have more of the scarf then it's nice to put across the end of a scarf or cut it into strips and put it down the middle or wrap it around a felt pot.

Thank you for sharing those results - what wonderful finds! I really love your moss - quite jealous, in fact!

Yes, I only used a 20 x 20 cm square of the grey so I’ve got nearly a whole scarf-full!

Thank you for sharing those results - what wonderful finds! I really love your moss - quite jealous, in fact! Thank you, Flights. Yes, the mossy one is great, isn’t it. I will probably add it to something that looks like a branch or tree stump. I was trying to copy a photo from a blog I wrote but I’ve only managed to copy the link. If you scroll down you will see what I mean. feltingandfiberstudio.com/2020/03/01/3d-wet-felting-experiments-part-two/

Oh no! Lockdown again - no charity shops ... again!
Great results Lindsay - particularly like the way the last one felted in.

I have 2 very large boxes full of charity shop scarves that would take me years to work through though so I think I should be ok for supplies 😅. Thanks for the comments.

we keep going up and down levels here. We just went down again today so people can go to gyms and indoor dining(with very limited numbers and no booze past 9:00)but no strip clubs. The strippers are very uspet they are singled out. They don't understand why. LOL
