What a lovely Cardinal. Are those beads along the bottom? and maybe a tatted star?

It's a very pretty cardinal and the beads make the card sparkle!

Lovely card. I’m very fond of wild birds (felted or otherwise) so it’s great to see a bird card. I’ve never seen a cardinal as far as I know but I shall look out for one when I’m next in their neck of the woods.

No Cardinals in the UK? I don't see them in Montana either.

No Cardinals in the UK? I don't see them in Montana either. No. They seem to just live in parts of the US, Canada and Central America and as they don’t migrate, we don’t even get strays.

We get them here but we rarely see them in summer but we do hear them. We are more likely to see them at a feeder in winter.

I received a most beautiful card from Filtzen I had to over-expose the background slightly in this photo to try to capture the green. www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/50488772Wet felted with (I think) a silk hankie felted over the tree and free motion machine embroidery for the decoration. thanks so much, Hélène, it will take pride of place on my shelves in December. Hi Lindsay, I cant actually see the photo of the card so I thought I would post it as well (the link did not work for me last week). Still getting used to the site so I thought it would be a good exercise for me to undertake. Happy Christmas!

The tree is beautiful - don't worry Feltzen I can see the tree in the original link posted by Lindsay but yes, it's good practice to post the photo anyway. I don't understand why but sometimes some members can see photos when others can't - it's a mystery.
