As a country dweller I thought this might be really hard, but then I saw an image of a city skyline and took that as my inspiration:
the dome is not inspired by the middle east, but a childhood memory of being amazed by the roof of the exhibition building in Melbourne.

Love it Pamster! And it's interesting to read that a childhood memory is in it. Silhouettes can be tricky but you've nailed it. I like the definition to the skyline shape - how did you achieve it?

Nice skyline Pamster! I had a little difficulty coming up with ideas for cityscapes too.
Raebelle,
We'd love to see your cityscapes. It doesn't matter if you were already working on them. There is loads of information about posting photos in the FAQ section at the top of the forum. In short, you need to have your photos stored somewhere else on the web and then either give us a link or use the reply button on the top right of the comment box (not quick reply). There are various options for sharing photos. Please let us know if you have more questions about posting photos.

Your links are bringing me right back to this page. I tried copying the link and putting it in to my browser and that didn't work either. You can email me photos and I will post them for you if you can't get the links to work. laneruthe @ gmail

Hello Raebelle I love them both!
Gorgeous colours for Edinburgh Castle and the perspective is spot on - it shows how imposing the castle is. How did you get so much detail into the stadium - you can see the size by your hand in the photo - amazing!

Well I got one photo to post for you Raebell. I agree with Lyn about the details. That's quite an accomplishment

Thanks Lyn, there is actually a line of handspun yarn defining the buildings and I did a lot of hand rubbing initially to try and keep it in place.

The hand rubbing worked well to keep everything in place Pamster and the handspun yarn makes a lovely definition to the buildings!

Great job Raebelle with the perspective and keeping the details defined. Pamster - good silhouette coupled with your memories.
