I know you're right Tracey but I'm going to bury my head in the sand then panic when I pull it back out in October!

hmmm... I haven’t even stated to worry about the fact that I haven’t started to think about Christmas yet. However, a few things came together today as i’m In exhibition prep mode. I stuck one of the little ‘beneath the surface’ experiments onto a box canvas www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/47183758My guestbook cover finally dried www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/47183756And I also finished a new airplant hanger but didn’t take a daylight picture so this will have to do. www.ipernity.com/doc/2373440/47183798I’ll take some photos when the exhibition is set up tomorrow (fingers crossed)

Wow, your beneath the surface piece looks wonderful on the canvas. I really like it. The guest book cover and airplant hanger are great too. Good luck with your exhibition set up.

I'm like a swan Tracey - all calm and serene above the surface but paddling like crazy beneath it!

Ah yes Lyn - BUT whilst you may begin MAKING your cards in October, we know you, the planning will begin WAY before then.......

Setting up was a little stressful as there’s a wire hanging system that’s great but a bit fiddly, especially with the heavier pictures

Looks like a wonderful exhibit Lindsay! Congratulations on getting it all hung and looking beautiful I really like the consistency of size now that I see them all hung together. Note to self, decide on size before you begin...

Thanks, Ruth. It certainly does make things more straightforward and they work well together though you could argue it’s constraining. I wasn’t sure at first but now I like having some parameters to work within.

The exhibition looks great. I am afraid I follow Ruth and make a picture then get mad at myself for making an odd size that is hard to frame. Maybe I should suggest stretching canvas and picture framing as a nice hobby for my husband.
