I've cut some sample pieces from the fabric I bought yesterday and there's also some small pieces from my organza stash. There's natural coloured muslin, white synthetic chiffon, peachey synthetic crepe, organza and some netting/tulle type fabrics. If you'd like to 'win' this fabric giveaway just reply to this thread I'll announce the winner next Tuesday so make sure you check back then to let me know where to post it.

You're welcome Joey I've tried all the new fabrics now (except the rusty organza) and they all felted in well. I really can't find a difference bewteen the synthetic chiffon and silk chiffon, so maybe it's nylon.

Zed we often joke about the speed of mail to and from the UK, and say must of been a good tail wind. Post can take longer to get to the south island than it does to travel to the other side of the world.

I arrived home today to a lovely surprise, thank you Zed. I received a pack of beautiful fabric samples. I think this was much better than winning the competition as it came so unexpectedly. Thanks again Zed.
