They are beautiful - I hope the judges appreciate your skill and artistry.
Thank you Lyn. Sometimes you just have to take a leap. Self-publicising is difficult but I also want to share my enthusiasm. As I say to my daughter: what’s the worst that can happen? In this case, really nothing at all.
Lindsay they are absolutely stunning! So pleased for you, I can't imagine their not being accepted.
Thank you very much, Pamster. I’ve just spent a weekend in a wet & cold beach hut where I didnt sell so much as a card so it’s lovely to get such positive commemts. Silly really how easily you can feel elated or downcast by whatever happened last.
Indeed. There just wasn’t the footfall, especially on Sunday when severe weather warnings were in place & the market closed 3 hours early. On the up side, someone messaged me today to say she’d come back to buy one of the air plant hangings after we’d closed so I met her at the harbour this morning in gale force winds and driving rain & she also took 6 cards so it wasn’t a complete wipe out. We have an improved forecast for the coming weekend & a public holiday on Monday so as ever I’m optimistic that things will pick up.
Chin up Lindsay - I don't suppose the ice-cream vans did much of a trade either with the weather as it is!
Indeed. I’ll be there from tomorrow till Tuesday and am sure things will be better than last weekend. When I think about it, short of someone strealing something, it would be hard for sales to be any worse than last weekend,as it would have to be a minus number!
