Hello from me in Wiltshire, England. I am Rachael, I knit, crochet, sew, embroider and have done some needle felting. My main interest for joining is to learn more about felting in general and embellishing machines but also to meet other creative people with similar interests. I sell my crafts on etsy and have done so for more than ten years.

Hi Rachael, glad you have joined us. Have you created your Avatar mouse?, he is really sweet. I did. I machine knitted the fabric and then cut and sewed the mouse from the fabric adding the felt ears and nylon whiskers. I have made a lot of these little mice in baskets over the years because I live mice. Thank you for the question.

Rachael - you're doing just fine. Don't worry about getting it wrong, there's not much you can do to mess it up

Welcome to the forum. I had a look at your etsy store. You make some lovely things. Don't worry about doing anything wrong with posting etc. We all had to start here and we are all very friendly and helpful.

I am having a huge clear out as I want to get away from knitting and crochet and do a few more 'artistic' things. I really want to change direction....not sure which way I am going but I plan to shake it up a bit.
