Hello, I just like making things ,I have had a needle felting machine for two weeks and have broken a few needles, I live in North Somerset and just wish I had one of these machines when my girls were young. Thank you for letting me join this forum I hope to learn a lot from everyone. Thanks Lizzy

Welcome Lizzy! It's easy to break needles on the needle felting machine. Even after you get the hang of it, you can still break needles if you get in a hurry. I look forward to seeing your creations and feel free to ask questions if you can't find it in what's already here on the forum.

Hello Lizzy and welcome to the forum. After a while you'll get to know your machine and you'll 'feel' the correct speed with which to guide your fabric/fibre under the needles to minimise strain and breakage. Like anything new - it just takes a little practice.

Welcome, I am a Mixed Media Fiber artist and sometimes use felt in my collage work. I do mostly needle felting and have had my machine for about 2 years. I also break needles from time to time. Just part of the experience. Hope to see some of the things you will be making.
