This may be a coincidence but has anyone noticed they now have lovely fingernails since they started felting? I have never been blessed with decent fingernails, they have never had any strength, and split as soon as they grew. I was really ashamed of them! I use olive oil soap to felt, and I have noticed there are tips out there regarding soaking your fingernails in warm olive oil. I am taking no chances and topping up in between felting using olive oil hand and nail cream, good nails are new to me and I want to keep them!
Also, as I said to my husband, the more I felt, the better my nails.........I think we will call that a win-win situation!

Tracey, I noticed too that my finger nails have become stronger. I use home-made olive oil soap too and after felting I even don't need to use any cream.

I agree about the olive oil soap. When I was young I was told that when I applied hand cream I should make sure that the cream got rubbed in all around my nails especially around the cuticle. My nails, once thin and brittle, became very hard and I've kept up the routine ever since.

Thanks Ladies. If only I had discovered this joy a long time ago, better late than never.
