I have been amongst the missing lately.my dear friend and Sister in law passed away suddenly in mid August so i left home for my beloved brothers' side and will continue here in Queensland with him until 20th Sept. They were married for 54 years and Marie was my friend for 56, her loss leaves a hole in both our lives. I am still going to the fibre forum on Sept 25 until Oct 1st ,my brother insists, even though we live 2000 miles apart we keep in close almost daily contact as a rule, and i will again head north to him later in the year. So no daily doses or work completed but today i can be back in touch with the forum at least.

I am so sorry for your loss Sue. There is no replacement for solid friendship and love, but memories live on with the living.

Thank you Marilyn and Lyn, yes best of good memories. I wore a hat at her funeral in memory of when we were both pregnant and used to go to the city for lunch and to try on hats at a boutique.....it was our monthly treat....so many laughs we had!

Yes Elizabeth,it is too easy to let contact slide when we just"know" they are there for us and us for them....suddenly it can be too late. Thank you Ann and Tricia, memories keep her close. My brother and I have spent hours reminiscing about the good times.

My dear Brother is off on a trip with his daughter and son in law but I will spend Christmas with him and his family and then possibly bring him home with me for a visit. He loves to lawn bowl so that will be great company for him now. Thank you everyone for your kind condolences. Marie left us with wonderful memories - they give us all strength.
