With the pound being weak now, you'll get more value for money from World of Wool if you're outside the UK. It's probably not the best time for UKers to buy from Wollknoll, though

Figures! Just my luck. I made a WOW order 3 weeks ago!! It's just been sitting in the bag, waiting for a place to be used.

They have been talking about wow orders on my guild page. Our Canadian dollar went down too. mostly because the American dollar went up while everyone was panicking like you are leaving tomorrow I don't need anything right now. After my last order I fund a bin of merino I had misplaced.

About 10 years ago, the Pound was really weak against the US dollar, something like 66p, so I bought loads of art supplies from the US. It was cheaper to buy 2 large bottles of WeldBond than buy one here. I still use them! Lyn, I was tempted to cynically promote my packs and e-books

the news keeps saying the pound is at a 30 year low. and I didn't think it was anything like. I can remember the Canadian dollar being higher then the pound.

Well, I could do without the Canadian dollar going down again. But Zed, you should promote your stuff that way, why not?

Ruth I would like it to go back up to par or at least close.

I thought about it, Ruth, but I have stuff listed in £s and e-books in US $, so some things are more expensive for some people too.

That's true Zed. If there was a way to direct your marketing at US customers, that would be better.

Yeah, though I think it's mostly US customers who buy my ebooks, so I'll just get a bit more than usual as a matter of course for those sold in US$.
