Got some very serious weather headed right for us here is Missouri, middle of the USA. So before that happens, I wanted to share an interesting Photo Editing Program with you. It is free, no passwords, no accounts to create; great tools that are oh so easy to use. I did a little practice and was amazed at how easy it is to even add text watermark to your photos. That allows you to put a very faint signature across your photos for internet use. Anyway, you can try it out at www.picmonkey.com/ Photoshop just wears me out.

Thank you very much for the link Judy - fabulous programme - I've just had a play with it and it's amazing. I also like the fact that the image retains it's original size - there are some free programmes that play havoc with the photo size. (By size I mean the amount of MB.)

Yes, for a free program, it has such good features. I plan to do some more with it too. I only tried the main options. I saw that it retained the original size. I was able to save my originals and make altered copies for different uses. We only got a lot of rain from the latest storms. Thank goodness, no tornadoes.

Judy - My daughter and I had a good play with it on Wednesday when we needed to crop and re-size some photos for a tutorial for our blog and we also needed to put some writing on a photo. It's so easy to use and so good - many thanks for the link.

I have been using it also. I really like it better than any other program I have.

Does it store your pictures or do they stay on your computer?

They stay on your computer because when you save at the end you save into your choice of file. However, not sure if also stays on pic monkey - although there are no 'albums' etc. www.picmonkey.com/legalInteresting, I've just found out that two former Piknik people are involved (Piknik has now closed but was also a free photo editing programme that Etsy users liked). www.picmonkey.com/about

I used Picnik but it closed. It did store your photos, but it was not altogether free. It had limited ability. Picmonkey does not have accounts or passwords. They do not store your pictures. I guess the guys from Picnik just opened a new service after they got bought out.
