That's what we did behind the tractor for the yurt. Just on a bit larger scale. Nice to have a lovely path to pull it on. I just have dirt/gravel roads around me.

We bicycle 6 miles each evening in the summer, so I know how our carpets will be rolled!

Have you seen the Queensize felted bedcover by Jo Bagge, on Wet felt makers page Facebook? She must have a work area the size of a football pitch! It's fabulous.

What a brilliant idea 😅 And it's not new, the Mongolians were doing it hundreds of years ago, though of course their bikes were horses!

My chum, feltmaker Carol Crowdy, does this in Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire when she is making rugs. Such a sensible idea - felting done and exercise taken all at the same time!

Yes, it would be a good way of getting two things done at the same time. The only problem for me is I can't ride a bike, well only on the flat and in a straight line. I used to get speed wobble going down hill, I couldn't corner and if I had to go between two posts I'd hit one of them! I never learned when I was a child for two reasons, my parents couldn't afford to buy me one and we lived on the A1 Great North Road (before the M1 was even thought of) so it was too dangerous for me to try, even when someone gave me their old bike. So it's "shanks's pony" for me and pulling a roll of felt would probably finish me off these days.
