Both sides are very pretty. The blue matches the color of the ocean.
That view is amazing!

Great job. It's funny how so many of us are reluctant to rewet and work at it again when we start out. I do it now without much fuss, but it took years. When I started out I think I felt I had done it wrong if it wasn't perfect first time. Now I know that sometimes you stop to soon( the I need to make dinner/ pick up the kids/get to the store problem) and you can't always tell that it was to soon until it's dry.

First-time perfect syndrome.. Yep. I suffer from it terribly. In most aspects of my life. I'd love to see a gallery of Picasso's or Rembrandt's or <name a famous artist>'s works that went into the corner to be re-done. Once upon a time, in another medium, a magazine had an article on just that thing by a well-known artist. She had photos of her 'less than desirable' attempts. It really made me feel much better.

Jill it is beautiful, and will be simply gorgeous to wear walking along by the sea, I have that 'I can't go back and redo' approach too, but you've made it work.

Thanks everyone. I don't think I do the 'perfect 1st time' thing, but will certainly ponder on that. I know I was concerned the neck would get bigger still (like a hole that expands as you felt) & I'm a bit lazy too It was a really good piece of learning for me & I'm grateful for your inputs. I do like the tunic but unfortunately it's already getting too hot to wear it here, although it only has a fine layer of fibres. I now need to decide whether to put it away until autumn, or to see if it sells. I am very fortuitous where I live, & very grateful. Now you can see why so many of my pieces are influenced by the sea!
