Elizabeth, I think it's beautiful the way it is, but then I'm the one who loves organic edges. :-). I'm not sure about adding bubbles unless the places that you'd want to put them haven't been completely fulled. As far as fringe, I usually do that about half way through felting process so that when I roll the fringe it will still felt. Were you thinking of just cutting the fringe and leaving it without further felting? I love the up cycling you've done.

I say it's done & it's lovely. I think if you cut fringes into it you might feel the scarf ends up a bit short in proportion? Just a thought. & as Marilyn alludes to, you'd probably need to rub the felted edges again.

I am always thinking along these lines, as far as art wearables go--“less is more.” As with Marilyn, I love the organic edges. And as Jill said, “done and lovely."

I like it the way it is. But if you think that you don't want to wear it as a scarf, you can cut it in half and make two cushions (repurposing).

Thanks for the lovely comments, all. It was looking terrible as I was laying it out, but I kept adding to it and I really like the result. It's not fulled completely. That's why I think I could cut the ends and rub them into a fringe. It's really long so I don't think it would come up short. Since there is still some looseness that's also why I thought I might add some bubble texture. I might try a small spot somewhere to see if it works.

Nice to see the real you Elizabeth You could certainly try the bubbles, it would probably work since you haven't completely fulled it. Remember that bubbles take a lot of material to make. You could always stitch them to hold if they weren't as tight as you'd like. I too like it the way it is.

I like it and if you finish fulling it, it will shrink some more. I was going to warn you about how much material the bubbles take to make. but Ruth already did that.
