So, it's something in email which shows you the latest reply so you don't have to visit the site?
The only thing I can think of for broken links is that they have changed since they were given out, maybe another answer added or something. I honestly have no experience of this, so I'm just guessing.
thread 2023 is Judith's Triffid thread, maybe removing something from the URL might work?

Mary - On the homepage - go to Profile - Edit Profile - Notifications - then tick or untick the boxes as appropriate. Hope this helps.

Mary I tried you link and got the same message. I only get notifications when someone likes my post or I have a message. I usually just peruse the board several times a day to catch up. It's probably a glitch on the board.
Have a great trip!

You said its an rss feed?I would say if the link is not to the actual site then it's them and not the site. It may just be a temporary glitch. fingers crossed.

Usually if something was working then stops, it is a temporary glitch. I don't have that turned on. Sometimes it helps to go turn it off per Judith's instructions and then go turn it back on.

Thanks everyone...'the husband' and I are half way to our destination. I'm working with my lap top so I can't determine whether making adjustments in the profile page will help, but I did them anyway. I'm just figuring out how best to navigate this site so even if the RSS feed no longer works, I'll just do as Marilyn suggested.... go to the site and see what's new.
I've tried to post a photo of a jacket on another thread but can't figure out how to do that from my iPad either! Technology is getting the better of me! I appreciate this helpful community so much and wish I was home felting and NOT attending the Rolex 24 hour car race in Daytona, FL this weekend. YES I SAID 24 hours?!!!! Though thankfully we do of stay at the track all night! The weather isn't supposed to cooperate so I'll either hurtle in the Porsche Club of America's hospitality tent or in our car... Me and my Kindle!

Wow what an experience Mary. Perhaps the felting genie will visit you and you'll come back with some great ideas. :-)

I have trouble posting photos when I travel as well. Hope the car race is more fun than it sounds.

Mary if you have never been to Amelia Island you should stop - it is about a half hour off of 95. I recommend Lunch or Dinner at LuLu's - just tell them Frances sent you. They close at 3 on Sunday and are closed on Monday - don't know when you will be traveling back. But any restaurant in downtown is good - all locally owned with great Chef's. The beach is beautiful.
We spend about half of our time in an ocean front Condo we own there. I transport my felting supplies between our two homes. I am not like a lot of women I carry more craft supplies including my sewing machine than I do clothing.

Frances, we spent a few winters in southern Spain and the sewing machine travelled too!

Morning everyone...... Thanks for the sympathy...seriously I'd so rather be at home.....but trying to rally in good humor. Frances, your restaurant tip sounds fabulous....... But the timing is off for us....however, they are now talking snow in the mountains for our return on Monday......which may delay us.....our sports car does not do snow! Wishing you all a creative weekend.
