I guess I shouldn't vote for my own book! Thanks Teri for letting us know about it.

Thanks for the link, Teri. I don’t usually venture anywhere near the FB pages, but I made an exception to vote for Ruth’s book. ;-)

I voted. It's a shame you can't downvote, someone suggested that Complete Feltmaking. I was so mad when I got that book, full of crap like 'make a flower shape' without telling you how, so much white space I could write my own book in there, and so many repeated arty farty shots of nothing. The opposite of useful.

Zed, I think we all have a few of those books sitting around gathering dust. My favorite (NOT!) is a nuno felt book by Catherine O’Leary which shows gorgeous nuno scarves but very little detail on how to achieve those effects. I fared much better with your on-line tutorial!

I know the book you mean Zed. I saw that and so wanted to say this book is crap. Instead I left a comment on Ruth's book about how good it was at explaining and not just a book full of arty pictures.

Unfortunately, there are a lot bad books out there that don't help someone, but only show the authors projects. :-0

No, quietly seething still, 7 years later is more British, Teri

I’m with Lyn on voting for your own book, Ruth. After all, politicians can vote for themselves! (far more dangerous than voting on a book).

No, quietly seething still, 7 years later is more British, Teri Who says we're all emotionally repressed? I like to bottle it all up and have a REALLY big tantrum every 10 years or so
