Hi everyone, I have ony just discovered what you can do with wool so I am very much a beginner. I have done some needle felted projects which I have thoroughy enjoyed and today I tried some wet felting. This wasn't a total success as it was a bit rushed, my fault for starting it near teatime in the kitchen. My husband realised that he was going to have to get his own tea as I was engrossed in what I was doing so he was prowling around? . Next time I will give myself plenty of time. I look forward to sharing my successes and failures and hopefully learning things from you all.

Welcome Foxyfoxy, we're glad you joined us. Best to train those husband's early that they are on their own when felting is happening Please share some photos, we'd love to see what you've made.

Hello Foxyfoxy - welcome!
Felting doesn't like to be rushed - it knows and it rebels! I think most of us have done the kitchen conflict thing and Ruth's advice about husband training is sage.

Welcome, yes the husband training is very useful. however you can always rollup you piece or bag it until tomorrow. I leave stuff until the next day all the time. we do love pictures, good things and things that when wrong, we love them all.

Foxy, I'm a rusher too. I'd love to see your needle felting! Maybe you can work your energy into your craft. I love Nuno felting because it's a workout and doesn't have to be a precise art. Hope you learn some cool stuff! Best of Luck! Adele
