Pam i'm a big girl i can take it and i really dont mind for something like that ;D I think that is so cool that you always kinda new where you wanted to go but were hiding it lol so now you can let loose and bead and embroider till your hearts content. I really cant wait to see what you do with your new Flat Felt lol Its taken me a while to see which way i wanted to go and i'm still working my way through that dilema lol but i do know now that i love to stitch, i love to felt and now i love to play with beads. Its funny because i didnt ever see myself getting away from needle felting but at the same time i really didnt crave it or really enjoy it. It just wasnt what i wanted and that did take me a while to realise. I really want to make some nice bags and tried again yesterday with just a small purse but its still not right, (thankyou ruth for your comments on my blog, that was so helpful but i just havent had the time to reply yet ) i will. Its just practise practise practise for me and one day i'll make the best bag ever ? So thankyou Pam xoxo

Felt makes such a wonderful background for beading. I just purchased the dvd "Bead It Like You Mean It" by Lyric Kinard. This is really a great tutorial and I have learned a lot, even though I already do a lot of beading. Now, I need to check out Karen's blog.

So, I gather from the conversation and what I see that Flat Felting and Wet Felting are the same thing?

Not always, Judy. It could mean a needle felted flat piece. I think Kaz had been making a couple of purses before she made this, so was just saying this was another (wet felted) flat piece, as opposed to something '3d'
