This is another distorted cross stitch piece that I did for homework for my stitch class. You can read more about it on my blog if you're interested.

It's beautiful Ruth. You asked in your blog post 'does it look like a garden to you?' - yes, it does, and the path invites me in.
It's got a lovely story behind it and I'm wondering if you will hang it with the other two?

That's gorgeous, Ruth I liked seeing the process of making it.

Thanks!
Lyn - It is so small compared with the other two that I'm not sure it would work well in that space. Plus it has to go in my class notebook for now. Perhaps if I got it matted and framed it would work. I'll just have to see.
Zed - I was going to take some in between shots but I was stitching on it at work and kept forgetting. It certainly isn't that pretty in the midst of working on it that's for sure. You just have to have faith and keep going.

It is beautiful. It is interesting how you built it from basic color blocking. The texture created by the stitching really works to bring it alive.

It does look like a garden. It is amazing with just one stitch.
