A while back we talked about providing a flyer to put up at a business or hand out to people to promote the forum and blog. I know this may be a little late for the main season, but if you have a vendor or fair you're attending it may be helpful to post one of these or provide them to fair or class attendees. There is a US letter size, 1/2 page size and an A4 size pdf. FFF Flyer 2.pdf (269.47 KB) FFF Flyer letter.pdf (301.89 KB) FFF Flyer a4.pdf (302.05 KB) If you do use these, please let us know about how they are received. I hope this helps to drive traffic to the forum and hopefully more participation. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, Marilyn for this good idea. I'm going to print them out and give them to the people I know that are interested in felting.

I don't have time to do this now but I'll print them out and see if the local yarn store will take some.

For anyone doing fairs, classes and exhibitions, please remember to bring some flyers with you to help promote the forum and blog. :-)

My printer has run out of black ink I'm trying to swap black for dark purples/blues etc, but I don't think photos will work, so no business cards etc for tomorrow. I will try to print out some plain text ones though.

My printer died I only discovered it after I spent ages working on little display cards, so I then had to spend ages hand writing them all

It was quite disappointing really, Ann Luckily people were interested in the cards and soap, and I sold a phone case (previously a mirror case) and matching purse (the bright cotton gauze ones from Beyond Nuno), so I made a few quid more than it cost to rent the stall. But for all the effort I put into going/being there, let alone all the felting and sewing before, it was a waste of time and effort really. I did meet some nice people and got nice comments.

That's nor fun Zed. You never know with a sale you have never been to before. Had you visited the sale before? I like to go see a sale this year and then decide if I think it will work for me the next year. I am glad you met some nice people and made more than you paid. Now you have stuff ready for the next one.
