Started making a grid for Mud Felting using graph paper and a pencil and thought there has got to be a better way so this is what I did: Making a grid using Microsoft Word – Open new blank document Click on page layout Click on Align then Click on View Gridlines Then can click on Grid Settings to change the size of the grid blocks The gridlines help in placing the shapes the same distance apart Then go back to the insert tab and Click on shapes Insert your shape and then resize to the size shape wanted Then the shape can be copied and pasted on to the grid Print – my ink jet printer will print on sheet of acetate - use X-acto knife to cut out shapes

You know...I never thought of that. Thank you. I want to do a big peice so that is going to save me a lot of time. I am playing about with a tall shape cone resist at the moment. Dropping the felt into spaced rings. Just drying, so I'll post when finished. I would love to see other people's cracked mud ...pictures anyone?

I am supposed to do that for my online class this week. Not sure I will get time to do much more than read about it. The cone of circles sounds interesting
