I took Chemistry for 5 years, though I can't claim to have been the star pupil! Alchemy is very different and far more fun. I've been trying to get Eucalyptus at our local florists without success They never have the round leaved variety which is what I'm after A friend has another type - I'm going to ask for some snippings to see how they work.

I've made one of my prints into a greetings card. I used Bondaweb to fix the printed mulberry paper to some card stock. From the hedgerow. by Judith Robinson, on Flickr

Thank you ladies. My shades of fennel:_ Wool yarns mordanted in Alum and Cream of tartar, fennel flower dyed. Then I modified the two thicker yarns one with iron and one with copper, these are pale because they went into the partly exhausted dye bath. The cotton was mordanted in iron, dyed in fennel and the darker one was modified with copper. Shades of Fennel by Judith Robinson, on Flickr Still lots left! Marilyn - The larger skein on the left is earmarked for a scarf for my daughter; knitted in a shetland lace pattern. The others are much smaller, so I'll probably incoporate them into felt; perhaps as a 'woven' or 'scribbled' effect.
