Looks great! I hope the birds like it. Is it attached to the house?

It's actually hanging from an outdoor light fixture, and I have tied a long cord to the bottom of the birdhouse to stabilize in this very windy city! Glad you like it, Ruth. Hope the birds are pleased as well.

Sorry, Ladies, my photo skills are not the best! I tried to link my photo directly from IPhoto but the photo was too large. Maybe time to purchase Photoshop! Or should I buy the drum carder first? lol

luvswool, I would buy a carder first, who cares about the pictures. I like the elongated shape of your bird's house. I've hung mine under a roof shelter and now I'm checking every day if there is something going on - nothing so far -

Thanks, Halay. I am really hoping the birds will come, and I've been peeking out the window to check--like you. There is a pencil inside which would act like a perch for any visitors!

We city folks have to try a bit harder to attract our fine feathered friends! I am working on a "All Birds Welcome!" sign next, maybe in felt?

Luvswool. We can't enlarge the photo as it's listed as private on flickr. If you change the settings we'll be able to see it better.

Can see it now It looks very smart, but I think the hole might be too big for a bird house. However it will make an excellent feeder. Nothing lost. There's seldom anything lost in felting!
