Well although I first learnt how to felt 15 years ago I have to say that this is my first ever post on a forum! I have two websites www.allsensesart.com and www.frillipmoolog.co.uk These represent the 'yin and yang' of my creative practice. Frillip Moolog is all about my mixed media sculptures which also involve lots of textiles and AllSensesArt is my outreach practice where I work with all ages and abilities of people teaching them the wonders of feltmaking. I get really passionate and my enthusiasm seems to rub off on participants. I enjoy devising creative projects that are tailored to people's interests and abilities.

Welcome and I'm glad you joined us. Congrats on your first forum post and I hope it won't be your last. You'll find lots of enthusiastic felters here and we love to share our passion for fiber art here on the forum. Your mixed media sculptures are cool. And I love that you're spreading the word about felting through your outreach practice. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Welcome to this fantastic forum. Love, love, love the slippers the children made. I haven't gotten brave enough to try them yet, but it's coming soon! Oh, and congratulations on your first forum post. This is a really great place, so I hope you will continue posting here.

Hi Kirsty I'm glad you joined us. I haven't tried slippers yet, either, but it's high on my to do list, even higher after seeing what your school kids made

Hello again Kirsty! Welcome to the forum. This is the second time I've 'bumped into you' today!
I'm amazed at how you achieved all those slippers with the school children (I have a grand-daughter in year 4 so I can understand that it was not an easy task!) but my favourite is the nuno den. Anyone who hasn't yet seen it - do go and have a look.

I just realised that I hadn't said thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. January seems slow to start. All I seem to have done is make applications for various projects. It is hard being freelance as every day of paid work requires such a lot of effort before you even start I mean in publicity, applications etc etc.
